CURSE THIS "EDITOR"

I JUST LOST HOURS OF WORK AFTER THE EDITOR LOGGED ME OUT FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. I HAD SAVED REPEATEDLY, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT REDIRECTED ME TO THE LOGIN PAGE (WHICH DOESN'T EVEN WORK MOST OF THE TIME) AND WHEN I MANAGED TO LOG BACK IN, NOTHING WAS SAVED.

PLEASE LEARN HOW TO MAKE A WEBAPP, I SUGGEST YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP A USER LOGGED IN BEFORE RELEASING THIS BARELY USABLE "EDITOR" TO THE PUBLIC.

OK so now the "profanity" is off the table lets look at this shall we.

Another quick pointer is all caps is considered shouting.
A lot of members will ignore that and pass on to a more deserving question with no qualms whatsoever.

BTW there is a protocol to the forum so I would ask that you go HERE first and learn a little.

When you enter this section of the forum there will be a post either just above or just below yours.
Care to read it and tell me what it says ?
There are lots of sites on the internet that log you out as a "SECURITY" measure.
This being one of them.
If you must be in constant touch with your sketch then the regular IDE maybe better suited to your needs

How and where did you save and as what ?

I find it better to have "selected" a board and saved the sketch right at the outset.

Will also leave a note for the boys and girls in the back to peek at this particular topic too JIC they miss it.
Am currently checking to see if the save issue affects me the same way it did you so I can verify it for the team tomorrow.

Please also provide the following.

Browser and version ?
OS and version ?
Board type ?

Those are crucial bits of info BTW.

UPDATE.

My sketch saves perfectly and I can access it as I would wish all during the 100 minutes.
The only changes I lost were at the timeout point itself and the yellow ERROR MESSAGE told me that it had not saved.

Going to let you in on a little tip I just discovered by playing around.
At the timeout point go to your AVATAR up on the top right.
Click "sign out" (Yes I know you are signed out of create)
It should jump you right into the the main screen so select CREATE and the login screen should come up and after that right back to where you were at your last SAVE point.
This saves jumping around screens trying to get back in.
Saves me 2 less screens to navigate here.

Now if you are willing to add the info requested I could probably match your OS and browser As I am lucky enough to have a few things at my disposal here just for testing.
that way I can do a like for like test to be 100% sure.

Its up to you.

When you say "nothing was saved" do you mean "since the last time I saved" or "not at all"?

Note that you can also check the Autosave option in the Preferences panel.
Please let us know if your sketch completely disappeared or did not save the latest edits.
