Hello everyone. I'm new here and I don't even know if this is the right place or approach for my project.
I am going into my final year of study to become an electronics engineering technologist and am looking for guidance on my final project idea.
I am looking to create a Bluetooth hands free system for my car that will answer phone calls, display text messages on a single line led display, and play music via AUX or Bluetooth.
My 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagon radio package does most of that.
It connects via Bluetooth to the phone. Buttons on steering wheel to answer/hang up, scroll thru address book, dialed numbers, etc. Mic in the car is transferred to the phone. Voice is played back thru car speakers. Voice activated controls too.
Radio controls let you advance thru songs, pause, play, etc.
I don't know about text messages - does Android operating system support doing that?
Don't text and drive - sure way to be involved in an accident.
