Custom boards not shown in list of available boards

Hello,
I do have a custom compiled board package for the nano 33 ble board, that shows up in Arduino 1.8.x in the list of available boards with the hint "(in sketchbook)". This does not show up in IDE 2.0 beta.
What do I have to do to make this available? Is there a new location (I'm on MacOS) for the boards in IDE 2.0?

Thanks in advance

Hi @bluestonetec. Thanks for giving the beta phase Arduino IDE 2.x a try!

Installing boards packages to the sketchbook is not currently supported. This deficiency is being tracked here:

For now, you'll need to use the classic Arduino IDE when you have a need for this functionality.

@pert thank you for the info!
The 2.0 IDE is very promising for professional users, to become productive.
Unfortunately we do need to customize the board images, so to really use it, we'll have to wait for the custom-board feature to become available.
