It's not guessing, it's applying experience and logic. If I built the product would I allow editing of the labels. Sounds like a good idea.
So I just tried to and here are the results. First screen is my Mac, 2nd my iPhone. I changed Accelerometer to Accel
Step 1 is to select the relevant dashboard
Step 2 is to click the Edit button
Step 3 is to click the label or whatever you want to change/edit
Step 4 is to click the cog wheel
Now it should be obvious.
That is 65+ years of experience and applying the (don't know the fancy latin) 'how would I design it' concept.
