Hi all,
So I'm new to Arduino and am very excited by the challenge in front of me!
What has brought me here is my 4P Arcade Racing Machine project I'm currently working on.
aaaand I've had the idea to add a physical Tachometer to each cabinet.
I've been able to get the RPM output (Boomslangnz worked his magic!) from the classic arcade game: Sega Racing Classic (Daytona USA) to output into an app by Howard_Castro called Mame Hooker.
From here, I'm hoping there is a way to take the data (which can be outputted by COM and a number of other alternatives) to a Physical Tachometer??
I understand this type of "computer game" to "physical gauge" has been done in the SIM Racing scene, but I'm hoping with your help we can find a way to extend this to Arcade Racing games.

I found this project by @tylerpeppy so I'm going to get these parts and have a play....

I am learning and would really appreciate any guidance please
Thank you in advance
