DC Motor Contoller 200Watts +

I'm new to this forum. I was looking for a way to control a DC motor and came across the Arduino Uno board. Have made only a few test projects but think this is the way.

I have a 24V 350W DC motor which I wish to control(speed & direction). Have Googled extensively without much luck.

Ideally I would like to buy a ready-to-go board but am prepared to build my own.

Any pointers or advice would be very welcome.

What's the stall current rating? You are looking at 10A plus continuous, but a motor
rated at that sort of current can easily pull 100+A at startup so current handling/limiting
is very important if powering from a battery. I know Pololu claim to have some highish
current controllers, make sure to check for over-current protection if battery power is
involved.

Thanks for that, in my ignorance it never occurred to me.
Yes, I plan to use battery power.
The spec for the motor says "No Load Current/A ≤2.5"
I've found a controller at

For $20 its worth trying.
