DC Motor not moving

Hello,

I'm using a Nema 23, TB6600 driver, and Arduino for a linear guide but the motor doesn't move when I attach it to the power source. I followed a video and wired it exactly like they did and also used there code, but when I attached the power supply to the driver the LEDs turn on but the motor stays still.

Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to give it some sort of input to actually start moving?

Hello there!

Can you post the code you are using, a schematic of your setup, and a link to the tutorial video?

TB6600 5A Stepper motor driver and Arduino - YouTube this was the video I followed.

Equipment:

MYSWEETY TB6600 4A 9-42V Stepper Motor Driver

Nema 23 specs: Step angle:1.8°
Rated Voltage: 1.7v
Motor flange size: 57mm
Motor length: 56mm
Holding torque: 0.95 N.m
Current: 2.0A
Resistance:1.32Ω

Arduino UNO

I have a AC to DC power converter that I will be using in the final build but I was trying to test with a 6v 4A lead battery.

https://github.com/jumejume1/Arduino/blob/master/Tb6560Arduino/Tb6560Arduino.ino here is the code I used.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Let me know if you need more info.

Post the code in code tags so we can read it. That would be any help from your side, which would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

Thanks.. Tom..
