Deactivate FTDI (Arduino Nano)

Hey,
I am using a Arduino Nano and I wanna assemble a low power project. While using lowpower.h and powerdown-mode there is a current drawing amount of current of 42mA. :astonished:
There is no periphery connected to the Arduino and it is running with stabilized 5V. So I think the problem is the intern FTDI (serial, parallel converter).
Is there a possibility to disable this FTDI with software or hardware so that it isn't active and not drawing current out of my batteries?

No. Nor can you disconnect the voltage regulator, or the Power LED.
Instead, use a Promini in your project, or board with even fewer components:
'328, xtal, 22pf caps, 0.1uF caps, reset pullup resistor
