Forgive my newbie ignorance. I read that the IDE Beta 2.0 has an integrated debugger that works with certain boards. Does the debugger utilize the serial port? I have a project that I'm working on that involves a Nextion HMI. I'm currently using a Mega 2560 because it allows the HMI to be connected on Serial1 leaving the Serial free for use with the Serial monitor. This works fine but my fingers and brain are getting tired of typing Serial.print! If any of the integrated debugger supported boards would allow me to debug with the Nextion connected, I'd consider purchasing one money well spent. Thanks for any insight.
