Delete historical data in Maker Plan

Hi! I've been using Arduino IoT Cloud on my academic project, however, I've noticed that as day passes by the dashboard lags.

Is this normal? Does the data retention a culprit in this?

For example, I created a new thing and dashboard it's super fast. Then after a day or two, it starts lagging. is this a well-known issue?

Is it lagging in displaying the data or in general updating the elements like buttons after pressing?
Data retention shouldn't really be a factor. What is your plan?
