I found an old thread on here discussing something similar. Unfortunately I cannot restore the uninstall folder and as such am stuck at what to do.
Pretty much deleted the uninstall and can now not properly uninstall to reinstall the IDE.
What OS are you using?
Hey JohnRob sorry for the delay. Thanks for getting back to me am on windows 10. I just decided, screw it and saved all my install files for programs externally and reset the computer as it was only a workstation without any key data. This obviously cleared out the registry or whatever was going wrong and everything is working great now.
