Design drafting software

I know this is totally off the wall, but it is for storage of electronics parts. I have idea to have three panels of plywood 21" x39" wide swing up to reveal the next panel...

||\ ... |\ well... It swings up a little higher.

We'll. I want to draft / prototype on PC first. Is there software trialware freeware for this?

Something like SketchUp?

As "General Electronics" goes, that's pretty darn 'General'...

‘SketchUp’ is very good, however, it takes a bit of manipulation to print the whole image so it fits on a single page.

If you are a student or teacher, AutoDesk AutoCad is free. Just be prepared for a fairly steep learning curve. They do offer a trial version to anyone as well.

From the same company, Fusion360 might be a bit easier to get started with and is free for hobbyists.

I had forgotten about that program. It would work. There is also FreeCAD (https://www.freecadweb.org/).
