I would be grateful if someone directs me on some good reading on the subject. I want to design a double-power system for my project - it should have rechargable battery pack and a cable. While on cable it should recharge the batteries. While off-cable it should switch to battery power and the board must "know" what source it is using as I want batteries to be an emergency option and the mode of work must switch.
