Hello everyone! I'm starting a project but I seem to be stuck now.
Is there a way to detect when two objects are getting near using their temperature without putting proximity sensors on each object? For example, a human (at 36°C) approaching something at 0°C.
I was thinking about a thermal camara which detects each of their temperatures but then I am not sure if then it can also meassure their distance. Could it be possible by making a three-dimensional construction of the room?
Thanks a lot
Thermal measuring is different from distanse measureing. Using a camera vision recogision might work.
Doppler effect. Approaching bodies will have an increase in frequency (blue shift). Retreating objects will have a decrease in frequency (red shift). You will want to be traveling near the speed of light (but not faster).
