Device tracker on wifi using esp-01

Hi
I am new to this forum and I want to make switch to Turn ON my server or some device using esp-01 when I got connected to my home wifi. sonething to switch on using my presence detection.

Any idea pls.

There are several ways to do that, each with it's advantages and drawbacks. One way is to track your phone using Bluetooth, this can be done completely independent of your home network. If the joining of your home WiFi is already set as the relevant trigger, the procedure to detect your phone depends on how your home network is built. What router do you use, how is it configured. You have to check if your router does device isolation (many modern devices do that) you have to login to your router and get the information about your phone from the router's status page. If it doesn't isolate devices on the WiFi (so each of them can directly connect to each other) you must configure your router to provide a static IP to your phone to enable the detection of your phone by the ESP by a simple ping.
