Hi there, so im planning a DF mini player project for my mandalorian costume. To make a long story short i will have radio static sounds that burst after i speak, going through the DAC port to my existing voice amplifier device (like a tour guide would use).
Id like to add a photorisistor to detect light and play the classic depressurising sound when i lift the helmet off...just because i think i can.
My question is this, i see that i can enable and disable DAC outputs via the code, but is there a way to do this for the speaker output too? I havnt prototyped yet (parts coming) but i would suspect enabling the DAC wouldnt DISable the speaker output.
I would like the radio static to play through my voice amp, but the helmet sound to play through a small speaker in my helmet. I do not want the radio static sounds to play through that speaker though. So just wondering if anyone has any experiance with this sort of thing?
Perhaps i could use left and right channels to direct the sounds? If i could turn down my DAC files to be fed into the voice amp (it would be double amplified)
Or if i made all my radio sounds hard left panned and my helmet hard right panned, connect the headphone jack to DAC_L and my speaker to SPK_R that could work right?
Just thinking outloud and hoping someone has some experiance or issues they come across
