DFPlayer - Fast Forward action not found

I am programming Mega for a DFPlayer module. I looked through the code for the DFRobotDFPlayerMini (factory) and DFMiniMP3 (Github), and could not find a function to fast forward a track.

My tracks are 1 to 3 hours long mixes. I just want to play a few minutes somewhere in the track. I can pass the byte address or the time address of the song.

Is there a way to do this? If not, what player should I use that can fast forward?

Is the audio quality of DFPlayer acceptable?

Can MP3 be fast forwarded or only .wav can do that?

A quick look at the docs and it seems that the DFPlayer Mini can't fast forward. However, the DFPlayer Pro documentation suggests that it supports fast forward etc.
