Im trying to build a midi controller with a arduino uno. im looking at the directions for updating the firmware. it says if you have a non smd uno you need to solder on a resistor. I can do that but the picture shows an arduino uno and i have and arduino uno r2. the traces look different so im not sure where to solder the resistor. any help would be really appreciated.
If your Uno is a R2, you must follow SMD steps. So you don't need to solder anything.
