DHT.h and Arduino_CapacitiveTouch.h compatibility

Hello, I am working with an Arduino Uno R4 WiFi board to build an environmental monitor and controller. Everything was going fine with the project up until I tried to add in the capacitive sensing function to act like a simple push button switch. I have developed and tested modules for each function in a standalone configuration, but the second I bring the two together the capacitive touch function no longer works. In looking at some of the other posts, it looks like there may be a timer or interrupt conflict between the two libraries.
I was wondering:

  1. if anyone has confirmed this?
  2. Has anyone identified a work around?

For my purposes, I can always drop back to a mechanical push button, but would like to use the capacitive sensor if possible.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with your board, but could easily be.
Did you try another DHT library? Other pins for capacitive touch?

Start by reading the pinned post re 'How to get the most from the forum'. There, amongst other things, you will learn to provide a wiring diagram and all your code in code tags.

Thanks @kmin for the suggestion. Not completely sure why this worked, but by moving the DHT pin, to a pin that supports interrupts everything seems to be working as expected now.

Nice that it worked. Likely some conflict with interrupts.
