I flashed my code to the board and then i realized the TX and RX pins just do not blink, and the upload is stuck all the time.
Usually when i power up the board the LED blinks or the TX and RX blinks. Now nothing, just the power LED and the pin 13 LED stays on continously
Did you do something to it?
Did you do a silly and short it or anything?
This is a bit like the asking the mechanic what is wrong with your car over the phone...
Restart your PC.
I appreciate those questions. I was writing a code to it. I have the Vin at 6.06V from a LM7806
I'm using a variable voltage controller to vary up to 5 volts to an input pin.
output pin is driving a logic level fet, with diode and zener to protect back emf.
I cannot recall shorting anything.

Is there any current limiting on that pin? A high amp 5v (may exceed by a bit), goes to an input, it could burn something.
Try taking all input and output pins off, and then try to load a simple script (blink led).
Empty board. No pin connected. And nothing. I get USB sound on computer but board doesn't blink.

What message does the computer/IDE give when you try to upload a script?
Does the computer recognize the arduino board?
Diagnosis is not looking good.
Do you happen to have a second/spare arduino to test?
I have another arduino, but it's a Nano.
computer recognizes it.
computer says uploading...and nothing more.

Unless your nano will not upload from that computer, I think the Uno has bit the dust.
