Different acceleration and deceleration with AccelStepper

I wanted to know if there was a way to have different acceleration and deceleration values thanks to the AccelStepper library? I did not find any conclusive answer on the internet.
If this is not possible, I would like to know how to create a delay with AccelStepper, ie when I start an engine, if I put a delay () after the stepper.run (), the speed is decreased, so there would have to be a way to control that.
Thank you for your answers.

I don’t believe it is possible to have separate acceleration and deceleration rates with AccelStepper.

It is not all that difficult to write your own acceleration code without using any library. Have a look at this Simple acceleration code.

Its open source you are free to adapt a version to your needs.

Why do you think you need this? The point of acceleration is to prevent miss-stepping due to inertial overload of the stepper, and its inertia is identical whether accelerating or decelerating.
