Different take on the word clock can this be done

was wanting to build a atomic clock for my ham shack out of an extra arduino uno a left over wwvb receiver case and lcd -- was looking on the net for some ideas when i came across this site

now i have wanted to build a word clock but the time involved is slim on my part -- to many other things going on !!

but this would be really cool to do and could be coded up and built in a few hours

as any one done a word clock with an arduino and a lcd screen -- was thinking of a larger screen display if possible if not a 16x2 or 16x4 and show the actual time or date or word date ie: 17 days past the first of august

any thoughts!!
