I got a sun founder sensor kit, and all I need to know is what is the difference between digital/analog temp sensor and what could I actually use the laser emitter for besides driving a cat wild? Can the laser be used to pass info, say a laser eavesdropper? Or even a range finder?
an analog temperature sensor returns a voltage that must be converted to a temperature. Most of them work continuously.
a digital temperature sensor mostly returns the temperature as a bit pattern. Most of them work on demand.
laser pointers can be used for many things e.g. intruder detection.
