Digital IO No Such File Found?

I keep getting and error for <DigitalIO.h> no such file found. I have tried installing the library differant ways and even just running one of the example sketches.
I have added libraries before and never had this issue. This is after installing Windows 10 however everything else is working. Thank you for any help.

Thank you for any help.

Thank you for providing your code and a link to the library. Oh wait, you didn't.

Pauls Thank you for being rude. I guarantee you wouldnt talk to me that way in person.

Whatever about his style, his comments were relevant, and you have not provided the missing information.

How to use this forum

Did you read the stickies at the start of this part of the forum? Or did you not think they applied to you?

PaulS has made 58,728 posts at the moment I write this. After about the first 30,000 you get a bit annoyed at people who don't bother to take the elementary courtesy of providing enough information to usefully answer your question.

In the link I posted it says:

If you are using a library that does not come with the IDE (in other words, you downloaded it from somewhere) please post a link to this library.

You didn't do that.

Was that a threat of physical violence? If so why would anyone want to help you with that attitude?

This was not a threat of violence in anyway. I am sorry I did not follow the proper procedure. In the future I will do so.
My point was there was no reason to be rude. When standing face to face with someone people tend to have better manners. This is a sign of character. I am new to this and struggling. I find comments like the ones Paul made to be rude and discuraging for someone venturing into a new hobby. I will repost this properly and do so in the future.

Things are a little more complex I suspect.

If you had been describing the problem to someone face-to-face you would have detected from their body language that they did not understand and you would have added more information automatically.

That feedback is missing (in both directions) on a Forum and you must make allowances.

Also, you are hoping to get valuable advice for free.

And, this is now Reply #8 but you have still not provided the necessary information. If you had used Reply #2 to provide the information you would probably have your project working now.

You might also mention what these ways are. There is one correct way. There are probably thousands of incorrect ones.

I am now getting a morbid fascination about how many replies we can get up to without finding out what we wished we knew in the first post.

No more from me.
