Being a beginner... I'm curious about the Digital output interface (0 and 1) mentioned in this article...
I can get the Analog value to work... but not the Digital Output value... From what I've read Digital input 0 & 1 (rx & tx if I'm not mistaken) need to be connected somehow... I'm not quite sure how, any assistance/information would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I dont think that when it says "0 and 1" it is referring to Arduino outputs 0 and 1. It just means the reading is a 0 or 1 value, i.e. it is digital. Connect it to any Arduino digital input and the reading will be 1 if the moisture level is below the level adjusted by the trim pot, otherwise 0.

You are absolutely correct... I attached to digital pin 31 and and the reading was displayed. I was thrown for bit by the Analog println loop where as the digital println did not seem to loop...
