Digital pins 2 and 3 conflicting?

Hello Fello Arduino enthousiasts.

I'm encountering a problem (or lack of knowledge) regarding pins 2 and 3.

I'm experiencing the following:
I have started creating a button box.
On this box I have a button connected to pin 2 and another button connected to pin 3.

When i press button 2 an signal is also measured on pin 3.

I suspect this has something to do with PWM as this problem is also observed for pins 5,6 and 10,11.

The board I am using is a pro micro.

Is this something that can be disabled with code? have I done something wrong or is this simply part of the board and pin 2 and 3 cannot be used simultaniously?

Thank you for taking time to help me out!

Kind regardsm

Joris

Post the sketch that you use to reach this conclusion (use code tags when you do) and details or preferably a schematic of your circuit.. Have you got pullup or pulldown resistors in place to keep inputs at a known state at all times or are they floating at an unknown voltage ?
