dimension-measuring touch sensor

I am wanting to find a sensor for use with an Arduino BT that can make comparative measurements of the area or at least length of the finger surface that comes into contact with it.

I have searched this forum and the internet for details about capacitive, ribbon, and touch sensors, but it is not clear to me what the best method might be.

I would be very grateful to hear any of your opinions on this.

Ideally I would like a few of these touch-area sensors on one board, and it would be great if they could function via the analog inputs, since the digital i/os are already being used.

Or perhaps a shield for the touch-area sensors could be created that runs via the analog inputs?
