OK, so if you look on the Arduino products page, you will find a section marked "Retired products".
The Arduino Mega is not included there. It's not on that page at all.
There is a reference at the bottom to "Older boards". If you follow that link, you will find the Mega.
So the Mega as a project is older than "retired"! What do you call something older than "retired"?
