I connect my Nano and it lights (power thru USB) but the port does not show up in the Arduino IDE. I had a similar problem with my Uno when I had certain pins connected ( but I forgot which pins). The port would just disappear. Can anyone explain what's happening here?
I'm trying to use the I2C of the Nano to run an OLED. Thanks.
Probably pins D1 and D2 (I would imagine)
Does it work on a windows computer?
I don't have a Windows computer atm. And as I remember it was when I connected the ground to my circuit that the port disappeared.
At the moment I have nothing connected to the Nano (other than the usb) and the port is not showing .
What is your circuit? Are you able to post a schematic and clear photos?
The problem is not the circuit, i have nothing wired to the Nano, I just can't get the port to show up so no program can be downloaded to it.
