Hello newbie here !
I want to make a project, in which a door with an electromagnet on it is opened by turning on 3 certain switches. There will be 5 switches but only three of them must be turned on in order to open the door.
I was told that by using arduino and command "if" this is possible but i want to verify it by a second opinion in order to start searching to the right direction!
Any advice is welcomed!

Are you looking for advice on how to wire the board or how to write the code?
Do a site search on 'combination lock'.
Why would you need more than 5 switches and a relay for this?
“Turn” two switches upside down, wire all five switches in series that will power the relay.
Route the power to the electromagnetic through the N.C. contacts of the relay and your done.
To change the “code” simply pop the switches out and rotate a few.
