Is it ? hmm Ok, Good to know,
This screenshot is from the time when i entered the forum and it's exactly what i typed
to get to the advanced tutorial,
Prior to that people were telling me just to type "advanced" without the braces.
the braces thing worked for me
But .. if it's change, or there were multiple commands... No problem
Good to know
Thank you

Actually i don't know if it works if you've already done it, Not sure

I think you misremember. If you type that, you will only get the generic response discobot makes whenever you mention it:

As you yourself said:

It does. You can complete the tutorial as many times as you like. I suggest you take the time to test these things personally rather than speculating as it will save time and confusion in the end. It's not necessary to use a public topic for the purpose. You can instead send yourself or dependabot a personal message to use as a "sandbox" in which to run experiments with interacting with dependabot.

Hmm Interesting, I'm now wondering why that screenshot exists and HOW ???

I stand corrected, You are right, I'm not exactly sure what happened there or why i have that screenshot, but
I've changed the screenshot in my comment to reflect the correct information.
thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Is there a command to list tutorials? for example

@`discobot list tutorials

Is there a way to send OP a tutorial, for example:

@`discobot linkto blink witout delay

Not for tutorials specifically, but this one will cause the bot to tell you all the commands it recognizes, which includes the tutorials:

@discobot display help

There is no way for a forum user to trigger the initiation of a tutorial for another forum user other than simply instructing them to request it from the bot.

The forum software automatically offers each user to participate in the first tutorial after they create their account.

The "advanced" tutorial is automatically offered when the user reaches "trust level" 2 with the forum software.

I provided more information on these onboarding mechanisms here:

That's what i was told when i came here, But it didn't actually happen, Until i was told
to prompt Discobot to start the Tutorial.
Perhaps Discobot just didn't like me

The confusing part for me here when i joined was when you prompt the bot to do the first tutorial, it TELLS YOU to do the advanced one, but it's nowhere to be found and it doesn't say to you , You'll get it when you reach trust level.
In my case i had to find it and i have a topic to prove that .

I split the interesting and valuable tangential discussion about the @discobot tutorials off from A better place for noobs to find help because it was off topic from the stated subject of that topic.

I just did a test and it was indeed provided to me:

I see that the previous overlay for directing people to read the tutorial invitation personal message from discobot was recently replaced by a "user tip":

When the user checks their notification, they see they received the "Greetings!" personal message from @discobot:

image

And when they open that message, they see the invitation to participate in the tutorial:

image

@btoelectronics if you check your personal messages, do you see that "Greetings!" message?

You can find it quickly using this tailored search query:

https://forum.arduino.cc/search?q=in%3Amessages%20Greetings!%20%40discobot

Please provide more details. I don't see anything like that.
