Hi all!
I've recently picked up a Circuit Playground Bluefruit by Adafruit. I want to connect this device to my MacBook Pro over bluetooth to transmit sensor data. I'm just trying to get it set up so that I can connect to it and properly find the device before worrying about the sensors.
It's currently running the example sketch provided by Adafruit below and I'm pairing it using the Bluefruit Connect App. I can properly connect it to the app and it displays all of proper information in the info section, but I can't find it when I look for it in my Mac terminal. I typically use the command ls -l /dev/tty.* but nothing shows up as connected to the serial port. Obviously I'm not able to use the screen command either. I'm using an external battery so that I don't have to connect it over usb.
It's important to be able to find its serial port as later I will be importing that information into Max/MSP to process. Is there something missing in the code that it needs so I can find it in the terminal? I've spent quite a bit of time already trying to google the answer, but with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated!
