Display HD44780 now is Graphic

Hi,

i tried to use the HD44780 in graphic mode.
See the preview pictures.

EDIT: Bargraph 1<=x<=20 , 0<=y<=15

EDIT: Bargraph 1<=x<=40 , 0<=y<=7

EDIT: Bargraph 1<=x<=16 , 0<=y<=20

Note: scroll is done by pixels (not by chars).

And … it can do more …

How did you do this? Did you just use custom characters or is there some actual graphic mode?

It’s a simulation of graphic using custom characters.
This one use to make chars inside the main loop through CGRAM mode.
Next step will be to use the DDRAM mode for to fill all display.

This can be used for to quickly see the variations in a long time of measurements.

You can use a luxury sedan to take your garbage to the dump but a pickup truck would be more appropriate. Do you get my drift?

Don

But some people drive their beat cheap, muddy pickup truck to a special event because they can't afford the luxury sedan,even though its more appropriate XD

Well done Vioncenzo!

Any chance of seeing your code? it might be the basis for a great library !

@floresta I not like to write posts for to have golden stars, so the really question is: am i going to take garbage?

Arduino is a great way for to teach/learn, then i'm looking what i can do with basic kit.

@robtillaart This is my idea, to make a library. Sorry for delay, i do it in my spare time.

@liudr It is not so simple and the goal is not the art. Btw, thanks.

i do it in my spare time.

isn't all time spare time ... (just in a philosophical modus operandi ;)
