Display libraries

Hello together i need help with my TFT im using this one: 2.8 TFT Touch Shield for Arduino with Resistive Touch Screen : ID 1651 : $34.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
Im Connecting it with an arduino uno and im trying to use the MCUfriend or the SPFD5408 libraries but neither of them are working im just getting whitescreen. The screen works because i can use it with the ILI9341 Library.
Can someone maybe help me?
Thank you

Can you include a schematic of how it is wired up, and 2 simple sketches, one where it works and one where it does not? Also, links to any library(s) your sketch uses.

You have bought an SPI display. You should use examples from the Adafruit library Adafruit_ILI9341.

MCUFRIEND_kbv is designed for Mcufriend parallel shields.

If you have a problem, quote which library and which library example.

Hi

MfG

For the English speakers:

Hi

For the German-speaking people there is the same here:
https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=692153.0

You would have

  • can mention here that you are already in the German branch with it
  • mention in the German branch that you also peddle here

I'm NOT assuming that one of the solutions given here or there will find its way into the other thread.
All in all: Not a nice move of yours!

Kind regards

PS: There are other Arduino forums where you could cross-post ...
