hello why display does not work?
Looks like it’s working to me.
You will save everyone's time by reading and following the advice in the how to use this forum-please read sticky. Especially the part about what we need to know in order to help you.
And, post your code in code tags.

Err, no. It is not. The right hand side of the display has failed to initialise. This implies a break in the connection between the HD44780 (or equivalent) and the HD44100 "slave" chip which drives the right hand side. Given that the display uses COB chips, this would not be repairable unless caused by an obvious scribe across the back of the board.
Unless Bill corrects me, I am not aware of any peculiar code problem which would cause such an initialisation failure.
How do you know that the OP didn’t intend a two row bar graph?

Hmmm. Good point! :grinning:

While we are at it - how do you know that the board does not have discrete ICs?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
