Display scrolling message received from serial port.

Hi all..im new member here.
And im also new to arduino...

currently im doing scrolling text using arduino uno and maxmatrix.
The text message are received from serial port..
but the problem is..when i key in the text..it was displayed and shift/scroll to the left...but after the message finnished,they all dissapeared.

so my question is,how to make it keep rotating and shift to the left?

Nothing in your loop keeps the message scrollling:

So add some code that puts the received message in an array, and then keeps looping it.

if i set the text in the code...it is ok..

but if im using serial key in..the text will end..and not repeat.

can u show me the code that i should add...im struggling with this for couple of days :cold_sweat:
