distance sensor instead of the ultra sonic range finder

hi all,
i am looking for a sensor to replace the ultra sonic range finder-something more accurate and reliable.
I can't use the ir sensors because i use them in full day light.

There is a module can measure the distance between two devices.
DecaWave DWM1000.
I am woking on it to connect to Arduino Mini Pro. But still no luck.
FYI.
