I feel like this could be made a lot smaller if there was a custom board made for this and just the parts from each piece were bought individually.

Actually the board is in progress, i just finish the first design of the board, i am waiting for the samples to make it smaller. i would like to pack it as close as i can. but i just want you to be able to use stock parts from sparkfun or adafruit.

Not to detract from this achievment but a better choice of large font might help ..I could read the small font in the videos but the large was fuzzy
The box i am using, was machined on plastic call nylamid, it has a groove for an oring to avoid water penetration. the clear top is made from lexan, that press the oring...
