I am planning to create a 16x8 or smaller touchscreen and transparent screen display. Can you help me figure out how can I do this very cheap?

I built one back in 2020, here is a picture of it
The LEDs look brighter than that in real life, it is just they are hard to photograph.
It can be touch sensitive with a finger but you get the best results using a stylus, because you can be more accurate.
You need to start with a glass touch screen, you can't make that yourself because it involves using vacuum deposition of metals onto glass. This was a resistive touch screen not the capacitive type.
Then I fitted two 8X8 WS2812 panels under it and some 0.5mm sheet polystyrene to act as a diffuser.
This was a project for the Raspberry Pi but the hardware could easily be driven with an Arduino.
