DIY Arduino WiFi?

Hi Guys,

I have a working prototype project using an Arduino Uno and WiFi Shield. I'm looking to condensing the already small footprint into an even smaller footprint by making my own PCB. I have successfully made my own standalone Arduino, but I'm curious if anyone has made a DIY/Standalone WiFi module. I have found some bits and pieces from different areas and even some topics here but nothing really complete.

I'm looking for a solution smaller than the shield without headers.

Thanks in advance.

This should fit the bill.

I must have missed the link.

You apparently need a microscope to see it, it's so small.

PaulS....I like your humor.....most of the time. This was the second time today that my kids asked me what I was laughing about when reading forum posts. That made an otherwise crappy day much better.

Here you go.

I was checking to see if I had an issue with my browser so I tried another one to see if I could "see" it. LOL

Yeah I saw the DIYSandBox model and it was one of my top picks. I also found shield with schematic and BOM here:

This one was linked from Arduino Playground - HomePage.

I might get brave enough to try to build my own someday, but I think I'll go with DIYSandBox's model.

Thanks guys!

I guess it was too late last night for my brain to be firing on all cylinders. I just realized that the DIY Sandbox unit is a full arduino mini with a WiFi module integrated! I was thinking this was just a WiFi shield for the mini. This is an awesome find for the price.

Thanks again!
