I have put together a breadboard arduino. And I have figured out the right way to upload my sketches. But I am having an issue ( uploaded blink ) and it will only blink while the reset button is pressed. I know it's not right bit can't figure it out. If anyone can help I would appreciate the help.
You need a pullup resistor on the reset pin and the button should bring the pin to ground.
It is difficult to tell because the image is excessively large, at a bad angle, and distorted but it looks like you have the RESET pull-up resistor connected to ground and the push-button connected to VCC. If you do have them wired that way you have them wired backwards. The pull-up should be connected to VCC and the push-button should be connected to ground.
