DIY LED Matrix to NeoPixel LED Matrix

Hey guys

So for my school project I decided to build a Music Visualizer. I found a code that works on a DIY LED matrix where the LEDs are soldered together but I had already bought a NeoPixel LED matrix and didn’t want it to go to waste. So I was wondering if there was a way to edit that code so it works on the NeoPixel LED matrix. I have attached the code I found

Have you looked around with Google? Pretty sure I've seen some projects with music and neopixels. Or have you looked at the example code for neopixels?
