so im building my own rc transmitter reciver set for tricopter and and i use nRF24L01p+ PA+ LNA+ V3.1 Module 1000 meters but whas wondering if it would change the range if the reciver only use the small nRF24L01 whith a range of 50 meters its only ment to recive and not transmit
Yes, it will reduce distance.
The onboard antenna is less sentisitve. I'v done that combination for a weather station, 90m out.
(i believe I'm near the limit - receiver must be at fixed orientation)
The problem is that you need 2-way comm. even when all info flows one direction only.
