DIY Sprint Race Timing System with Arduino

Hi, i am trying to make this project however i am unsure about how to wire everything together. Any advice would be much appreciated :slight_smile:

no clue

Did you look at the code.....

/*
 * Epaper BUSY -> Arduino D7
 * Epaper RST -> Arduino D8
 * Epaper DC -> Arduino D9
 * Epaper CS -> Arduino D10
 * Epaper CLK -> Arduino D13
 * Epaper DIN -> Arduino D11
 * Epaper GND -> Arduino GND
 * Epaper VCC -> Arduino 3.3V
 *
 * HC-SR04 VCC - > Arduino 5V
 * HC-SR04 GND - > Arduino GND
 * HC-SR04 TRIG - > Arduino D2
 * HC-SR04 ECHO - > Arduino D3
 *
 * Buzzer + -> Arduino A0
 * Buzzer - -> Arduino GND
 *
 * Buttons: D4, D5, D6
 *
 */

Then a bit lower down this, so you can tell the buttons wire to ground:

 pinMode(6, INPUT_PULLUP);
pinMode(5, INPUT_PULLUP);
pinMode(4, INPUT_PULLUP);

Show me the schematic

What code ?
there's no code there

No code and no schematic
No clue

raschemmel:
What code ?

There's a github link

raschemmel:
Show me the schematic

Can't be any clearer than this :wink:

Nice schematic.
Post the github link

I think it's a stupid youtube video because the author is making little or no effort to instruct.
It's all about showing off without teaching anything.

Post the github link

They mostly are…

But at least it reminded my that I want to mount a spare peg-board that I have, behind my desk to tidy my sh1t.

What's an STL file ?

raschemmel:
What's an STL file ?

Looked to me like the code to run a 3d printer to make stuff. Like a gerber is for pcbs?

So no schematic ?
I told it was all show and no go

Trivial to wire it from the comments in the code

That's not the point.
There's a million tutorial for ultrasonic module and probably a thousnd for the paper display and a million for buttons and buzzers .
So what is the purpose of this post ?
In the end you ca tell the OP it's trivial but if so, why did he post ?
Besides , its suppose to be a SPRINT timer but only works for an oval track as a one lap counter.

In the end you ca [sic] tell the OP it's trivial but if so, why did he post ?

She may not have seen the code, that's why.
