I have arduino uno and led. My led colour is red. I want the change the colour to blue when i shutdown the computer. How can i do that?

Is the Uno powered by the USB alone or does it also have an external power supply ?

Not every diode can change the color.

Yes it works by USB but i can power it with another power supply. Power supply is not problem for me

Please clarify:
You need change the colour AFTER the PC was powered off... Or you want to change the led DURING the shutdown process?
The former is easy, but for the latest you required that some signal will be generated by PC at start of shutdown process.

Okay sorry. i am clarifying the situation. I have red light led. When i press the power button of computer I want the arduino changes led's colour. Probably changing led colour during the shutdown process can solve my problem.

We always shutdown the PC by pressing power button? Never use keyboard or menu commands?

If so, you can use power button signal as a trigger for changing the led colour.

No i have to shutdown with power button unfortunately. I am new at arduino. You have any tutorial about that?

The project needs only a relay and an external power supply for the RGB LEDs.
