Do I have this wired up correctly ?

Hi guys below I've attache a picture of how I'm going to have everything hooked up to my Arduino nano.
before I go powering it up I want to check if I have everything in the right place.
in the picture I have
Arduino nano v3
adafruit microSD breakout board
AXL335 tri-axis accelerometer
and an audio amplifier which I don't know how to add?

The thick red, green and blue lines are out puts for controlling a RGB LED

I would also like to add 2 more outputs for driving 2 more LEDs but to do that I think I need to add a TLC5940 theres a tutorial for it but it seems quite difficult.

anyways the question is do I have everything in the right place?
if theres anything wrong or you have any advice for me it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

It looks like the ADXL335 wants 1.8-3.6 volts, so you could connect it directly to the Nano (ground to ground and ADXL335 3v pin to Nano pin 17 (3v3).

The SD card wiring looks correct, assuming you want to use the Card Detect (Arduino pin 9).

Sorry I can't help you with the audio amp, for now that's beyond me.

For more LEDs, you could connect a couple of 595 shift registers and use the ShiftPWM library (http://www.elcojacobs.com/shiftpwm/), much easier than dealing with the TLC5940.

Good luck!

Thanks, thats an awesome thread. Should be really helpful XD
If you have any other info on ShiftPWM it would be much appreciated.

Hello
Were you able to complete the sound system for the lightsaber?
if you're done, I would be interested if I can post the schematic and code, because I'm putting together a lightsaber, I send you pictures if you're interested.

from already thank you very much
