Maybe I even find some space on my pcb where I can place a step up booster, so that I can use an MIC4416 Driver. That would probably a decent solution.
The MIC4416 would like to have at least 4.5V. According to this characteristic, however, with a supply voltage of 3.5V (1S LIPO empty), at least ~ 100mA can be produced at the output. Do you think it would be worth a try without a boot converter?
