Do I need to flash the CMWX1ZZ LoRa module on a new design?

Hi,

I'm designing a board around the MKR1310. Simple question. If I use a factory fresh CMWX1ZZ and connect it to a SAMD21 that already has been flashed with the bootloader will it work with the defaults of the CMWX1ZZ?

Basically, I know I need to flash the SAMD21 to make it accept the arduino code but do I need to do anything to the LoRa module other than connect it up correctly?
