Does Changing Timers Affect Hardware SPI Functionality?

I'm not sure if changing the timer for Pin 3 (OC2B) will affect the hardware SPI function of Pin 11 (OC2A)

It will have no effect if you do not enable timer output on pin 11 with the COM2An bits.
