Hellow, i am very new...try like VERY NOOB.... retarded...or same words.... my problem is that... i want to check if the files that i want for arduino ( several files of coding ) are saved on arduino or the code is running..... or if anything in memory of arduino ... how can i do that...how can i explore arduino.. ?
Thank you very much
I have arduino UNO R3
I will upload the files
i open Arduino IDE and open one of the files --- all files open and the i just hit UPLOAD and it uploads?! .. no problems... only how do i know if they are uploaded...
If you select File::Preferences and turn on Verbose Outputs, you will see a series of message at the bottom of the screen.
At the end, you will see a series of messages describing memory loading and verifying, if those all complete without error you will know the chip is programmed.
Genious !! .... i have these 3 files that i can show u ... 1 is when i open 1 file ...they all open same time in same window , then i have i file uploading so u can see.... and last file is message with memory .
DO i need to upload file 1 by 1 ...i think when i upload 1 file...they all upload !?
GUess it's all ok ? ... now my orange light stays on from arduino ... before of the upload it was blinking
oh yes my arduino works with DEFAULT EXAMPLE BLINK ... i tryed it just to see if works at first then i uploaded my codes.
When you select File:Upload, you will see a lot of stuff going by in the bottom.
Select File:Preferences, and turn on Verbose outputs as I suggested, you will see a lot more, and can confirm the upload occurred.
Also, watching the Rx and Tx LEDs on the board flashing is a good indicator. Usually you will see something like blink - blink - then a bunch of flashing of each as the data goes to the board and verification goes back to the PC.
U were right ... i activated the "advanced mode" and got a close look at whole system check and stuff... and got the route to where my arduino is temporarily storing the things...so i found them.... so yes i thing they are all installed..
Hi,
If I am, and some others do as well, use a LCD or monitor communication, make the display tell you what it is about to run.
You include this in the setup so it only runs once on startup.
That way you know what is on your arduino if you have more than one and get them mixed up
thank you tom , make due that i am 0 at coding, only doing this for 2 days, trying tutorials and stuff, as soon as i get the lcd ( still in transport ) , i will conect to arduino as i have my schematic , and then will try my circuit , i already have other parts, here it is guys.
Finished the project and it all works fine.... THANK YOU ALL,I HAVE MY FIRST PROJECT. now i can have a look at my next project i only have i question about that one. Thank you
Now it's time to take a look at real programming and stuff, but i would like some point outs first.
Hellow, i would like to know if anyone know any project on internet or someone may help me build a circuit with this uses:
i need something that has a button so players can hold for a amount of seconds so that they can wait to respawn.
At the same time i need it to have a screen with an amount of tickets left for the team, each player when respawn takes 1 ticket.
Also need 2 buttons so we can increase/decrease the amount of seconds to hold for player to respawn
and the numbers of tickets
Also need to have sound alarm ( pc speaker or same ) that sounds a alarm when tickets are down to 0
Button A - this is what players hold so that they can respawn ( hold for X amount of time ) Example : 5 secs hold
Button 1 - increase time that players need to hold so that they can respawn / increase number of total tickets
Button 2 - decrease time that players need to hold so that they can respawn / descrease number of total tickets
Screen - No description here ... menu with ok / cancel ? ... select total tickets ... select seconds ... sound on-off
Sound - Alarm sounds when number of tickets get to 0
I ended up following this tutorial, is it possible to add a button to this sketch, that after 3 seconds of pushing it will drop by 1 the number from the display ? , and when the number raches 0 , a small speaker goes like a alarm?.
